Welcome to The Armchair Traveller. This is a blog space which began as an email to a friend once a week. I was trying to entice my friend to travel the world with me in 2007. Slowly more of my friends heard about these emails and wanted to receive them as well. The need for this blog space came out of a need to move away from sending lots of large emails and having a place where we can all come back and refer to previous emails. So The Armchair Traveller was launched to celebrate the wonderful world we live in!!

All the information posted comes from information I have gathered from the Internet as well as word of mouth from people who have first hand experience visiting certain locations.
From July 2007 The Armchair Traveller has undergone a remake as I have taken off out of my armchair in search of my own adventures overseas. So please enjoy “The Armchair Traveller – Now Actually Travelling!”
